Private Copilot Studio Hackathon
- Students who have completed the prerequisite “Copilot Studio in a Day Workshop” can participate in an instructor led hackathon using Microsoft Copilot Studio as the primary technology for creating virtual agents. During the hackathon, students will develop their own solutions to the predefined use case scenarios that Pragmatic Works will provide. Students will be divided into small groups to collaborate on creating a copilot to address the assigned challenge, while a Pragmatic Works trainer facilitates and assists in guiding the groups as they develop the solution with their hands on the keyboard.
Each Use Case Scenario provided for the hackathon challenges will include the following:
- Business Overview
- Scenario Description
- List of problems the business is facing
Automation Challenge: a task where participants develop features in their virtual agent that incorporates automated tasks humans would typically perform manually.

The upcoming Copilot Studio workshop is intended solely as a learning opportunity and training session for participants of the upcoming AI hackathon. It is not an official rollout of Copilot Studio for the University of Miami community. Currently, there are no plans to offer an enterprise license of Copilot Studio to the broader community.
The temporary/education licenses given to participants during the sessions will expire after Day 2 of the training session (February 27). These licenses are not affiliated with any enterprise license from the University of Miami.
