About this Event
Joachim Nagel has been President of the Deutsche Bundesbank since January 2022. He also serves as a member of the Governing Council of the ECB, a Governor at the IMF and a member of the BIS Board of Directors. Prior to this, he served in management positions at the Bundesbank and held senior positions at the KfW Group and the BIS. He holds a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Karlsruhe. In his remarks, Joachim Nagel will explain the setup in the euro area, elaborate on the current economic developments and shed some light on the differences between the Eurosystem and the Federal Reserve System. Q&As will follow the remarks. All majors are welcome.
