#SEHDThe Community and Educational Well-being Research Center (CEWRC) invites you to the 2022-2023 Speaker Series continuing this spring with the sixth of our seven-part series for an interactive and lively discussion.
The CEWRC seeks to promote the emotional, educational, and physical well-being of all children and families. As part of the School of Education and Human Development, the CEWRC strives to work with diverse and under-resourced communities, to support individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others, and to ensure that our work is always culturally informed, and evidence based.

Topic: Removing bias from your program
Unwelcoming academic cultures and structures can negatively impact the recruitment and retention of diverse students, faculty, and staff, and it may influence others to perpetuate discriminatory practices. Understanding and eliminating potential forms of bias in education programs is imperative to creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environments.
