About this Event
1311 Miller Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33146
This event is mandatory for all 1L students only. Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions is an activity that gives law students experience with civil discourse skills and complex decision making.
Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions is a national initiative of the federal courts that brings together law school students and federal judges for legal proceedings that arise from situations in which young people can find themselves. In these court hearings (not mock trials), students serve as attorney advocates who argue the case and as jurors who listen to the arguments, then actively deliberate in the courtroom.
