Your Chicago 'Canes Community invites you to join us as we head to the Shedd Aquarium for an exciting and informative evening, Jazzin' at the Shedd, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 6-8:30pm.
Bring the entire family to join fellow ’Canes for a deep dive into an illustrated lecture by UMiami Alumni research biologists at the Shedd Aquarium. General Admission Adult Tickets include snacks, beer, and wine with proceeds benefiting the Chicago 'Canes Scholarship Fund. Children receive complimentary admission.
Dr. Andrew Kough, Ph.D., RESEARCH BIOLOGIST
Andy Kough leads fieldwork in the Bahamas to study populations and management strategies for queen conch, an iconic species that is declining due to overfishing.
Dr. Ross Cunning, Ph.D., RESEARCH BIOLOGIST
Ross Cunning is a coral biologist and ecologist researching ways to boost coral reef resilience under climate change.
We can’t wait to see you there for networking, conversation, and fun for everyone on a beautiful June night with stellar views of the city and marine life.
Paid parking will be available to all Jazzin' attendees.
