Please join us on Thursday, April 15 at 12:00 pm for an informative session designed to provide post-docs, faculty, researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals with an overview of the CHARM Developmental Awards program. This session will cover the different awards, eligibility criteria, and the application process for the awards.
CHARM's Developmental Core and Equitable Implementation Science Core offer 4 types of awards:
- CHARM Pilot Awards: Provides support for community-engaged research to generate preliminary data for future HIV/AIDS and mental health funding ($45K)
- CHARM Scholar Awards: Provides support for early career investigators transitioning to independence in HIV/AIDS and mental health research. Projects typically involve secondary data analysis using existing or parent study data. (Up to $45K
- CHARM Equitable Implementation Science (EIS) Core Microgrants : Support the development of partnerships between investigators and implementers for equitable implementation research in HIV and mental health ($5K)
- NEW-CHARM Bridge Award: Provides support for a University of Miami investigator who has lost their funding due to shifting NIH priorities and who needs to pivot their program of research to realign with current priorities consistent with the mission of CHARM and NIH priorities (Up to $45K)
