Join the Charlotte ’Canes for a special tour of the J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte!
This is a chance to see the beautiful UNC Charlotte campus, and you will learn about how university libraries are changing and experience some of the exciting new technology available. We will learn what happened to all of the books, experience technology like virtual reality and 3D printers, and explore new features like video studios, nap pods, and more.
Parking will be available in the Cone Center upper deck. Follow green and orange balloons downstairs and through the Cone Center to the library entrance. Free parking vouchers will be distributed during the tour.
After the tour, you're invited to join fellow ’Canes for lunch at Tequilas Taco & Bar just down the street. Attendees will be responsible for their own purchases.
All in-person events will be hosted in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, local government regulations, and/or University guidelines, all subject to change due to the COVID pandemic.
