On April 23, 2022, the Charlotte 'Canes Community is hosting an in-person 'Canes Day of Service event. Show your true 'Canes spirit by participating in a local service project with fellow 'Canes and friends of the U!
We will be volunteering at Samaritan's Feet warehouse, supporting their mission to provide shoes for children around the world. Dress comfortably and come ready to work together to make an impact in someone’s life.
To serve in the warehouse all individuals must register online at this link before your scheduled date. You can fill out the form on site the day of, please arrive 15 minutes early if you do not fill out the form online. Per Samaritan's Feet: All individuals attending must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Monitor symptoms for the week prior to the event to ensure your safety and ours and if you’re sick please stay at home.

Registered participants will receive a commemorative 'Canes Day of Service t-shirt. (Shirt sizes not guaranteed.)
This volunteer shift is limited to 25 individuals
’Canes Day of Service offers University of Miami alumni, families, students, and friends an opportunity to participate in a local service project to give back to their respective communities. Hosted by ’Canes Communities all over the country, these service projects support the University of Miami’s mission to transform lives through education, research, innovation, and service.
All in-person events will be hosted in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, local government regulations, and/or University guidelines, all subject to change due to the COVID pandemic.
