Join us as we mark a century of excellence, innovation, and Canes spirit with a Centennial Celebration
The Centennial Celebration is open to the public and will commemorate the legacy of the Hurricanes. The entire event is organized by the University’s Centennial Honorary Committee, composed of alumni, students, faculty and staff members, and trustees. The theme for the centennial year is “The Future is U,” an homage to the upward trajectory of the University, its network of more than 200,000 alumni, and the forward-thinking vision that has positioned the University among the top research institutions in the country.
Canes Carnival (5 – 9 p.m.) – Rides, games, and music on the Foote Green, presented by Hurricane Productions.
Centennial Block Party (5 – 9 p.m.) – Enjoy free food stations around the Student Center Complex from 6 to 8:30 p.m., plus live music and more along Lakeside Patio!
Centennial Concert (7 – 8:30 p.m.) and Fireworks Show (8:30 p.m.) – An unforgettable evening featuring a landmark concert by generations of famous Frost School alumni, hosted by celebrity TV host and Cane grad Jason Kennedy, historic video tributes followed by a dazzling fireworks display over Lake Osceola.
NEW: Join fellow Broward County and Palm Beach County Canes for complimentary bus transportation to and from campus with ease. Meet at 3pm in Broward: Atlantic Turnpike Service Plaza - Pompano Beach or Palm Beach: Lake Worth Turnpike Service Plaza.
