C2C: Funding Spin-out Companies Through SBIR or STTR Awards

Add to calendarThe federal government funds over 5000 SBIR/STTR awards annually. These research grants are made only to private companies and are intended for them to demonstrate technical feasibility of their innovations, in order to develop new commercial products. SBIR and STTR Awards are a common way for faculty-led spin-out companies to further their technology in anticipation of seeking angel investment or venture capital. The webinar, intended for any faculty, staff, or other researchers, contemplating a spin-out company, will seek to demystify these awards and share best practices for securing them.
