In honor of ’Canes Day of Service, the Broward County ’Canes will join Feeding South Florida to give back to members of our community by providing nourishment and fighting hunger. Feeding South Florida is the leading domestic hunger-relief organization (food bank) serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food. Spots are limited to 25 participants and will fill up fast. Kindly register by Thursday, April 6, 2023. 'Canes Day of Service t-shirts will be provided for those who register (sizes not guaranteed).
Please wear comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt and shorts or jeans. Closed-toe shoes must be worn. Please do not bring purses, backpacks, or valuables into the warehouse. A crossbody bag or fanny pack is acceptable. Masks are not required. Ages 12-14 can volunteer with an adult. Ages 15 and older can volunteer independently. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and orientation.
