In honor of Canes' Day of Service, the Broward County ’Canes will join Feeding South Florida to give back to members of the community, by providing nourishment and fighting hunger. Feeding South Florida is the leading domestic hunger-relief organization (food bank) serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food.
Spots are limited to 15 participants and will fill up fast.
Deadline to register is Thursday, April 7, 2022.
Volunteers are asked to sign a waiver stating they are in good health and have not had known exposure to anyone ill within the past two weeks. All volunteers are required to wear a mask, as well as closed-toe shoes. Please arrive 15 minutes early for a brief orientation for the sort process.

All in-person events will be hosted in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, local government regulations, and/or University guidelines, all subject to change due to the COVID pandemic.
