About this Event
BreakThru Diversity Mixer is a career event designed for underrepresented student populations, including Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC), First-Generation, LGBTQ+, and students with disabilities at the University of Miami, to connect with employers who value and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
This event serves as a lead into our Job & Internship Expo and supports future professionals by providing early access to connect with employers before attending Expo. BreakThru will be hosted at Lakeside Village Auditorium & Pavilion, where students will meet employers specifically looking to offer internships and full-time opportunities to diverse populations.
