Each year, the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) presents October as Biosafety and Biosecurity Month. Biosafety month is a period where we focus on and reinforce our attention to biosafety and biosecurity standards. This year, the Environmental Health and Safety Office (EHS) Biosafety Office is reviewing crisis essentials, highlighting critical requirements labs must do to be prepared for an emergency response.
