The program will feature two masterpieces of the trio repertoire: Shostakovitch’s tragic trio no. 2 and Dvorak’s epic F minor trio. This concert is an unusual opportunity to hear two outstanding trios that are rarely performed. The Bergonzi Trio will record both of these in December.
