About this Event
This course is designed for ophthalmic technicians, nurses, scribes, technologists, ophthalmic photographers and all staff interested in the clinical care of the ophthalmic patient. Topics include indications and techniques for intravitreal injections, use of blood derivatives in the management of ocular surface disease, update on ocular pathogens, drugs and infection prevention, overview of ophthalmic ultrasound and clinical applications, practical application of diagnostic imaging in the ophthalmic clinical setting and prevention of eye disease in adults and pediatric patients. The course is comprised of live, didactic and interactive sessions, as well as questions and answers.
