In the second concert of the FSW season, the band will present the music of Puckett, Maslanka, Mackey, and Ellerby. Audiences will first experience Puckett’s beautiful Avelyn’s Lullaby before being woken by Mackey’s vibrant Aurora Awakes. The light continues with Maslanka’s Illumination until the concert ends in the City of Lights with Ellerby’s kaleidoscopic Paris Sketches. Ellerby’s work is not only based on different parts of Paris but each movement is also inspired by famous composers who walked its streets.
