The Art of the New Urbanism: Lecture, Alumni Honors, and Book Signing

The University of Miami School of Architecture invites you to a special centennial event on Monday, September 15.
The evening begins at 5:30 PM in Glasgow Hall with a lecture featuring Chuck Bohl, James Dougherty, and Victor Dover, co-authors of Art of the New Urbanism. They will share insights from the book, reflecting on the principles of New Urbanism and its lasting impact on communities worldwide.
At 6:15 PM, the School will recognize distinguished alumni with the Centennial Alumni Medals, honoring their achievements as recipients of the New Urbanism distinction.
The evening concludes with a book signing and reception from 6:30–7:30 PM in the Korach Gallery, providing an opportunity to meet the authors, connect with alumni, and celebrate the School’s centennial milestone.
