College of Engineering Alumni Association Homecoming Breakfast and Centennial Panel Discussion
Time: 8 - 11:30 A.M.
Location: Newman Alumni Center, Multipurpose Room
Join us for a special morning of connection, celebration, and Cane spirit at our annual College of Engineering Alumni Association Homecoming Breakfast! This year's breakfast holds even greater significance as we proudly celebrate the University's 100 years of excellence, impact, and transformation.
Band of the Hour Luncheon, Hall of Fame Ceremony, and Rehearsal
Time: 12 - 6 P.M.
Location: Knight Center for Music Innovation
Join your fellow Band of the Hour alumni for a luncheon hosted by the Frost School of Music, follwed by the Hall of Fame ceremony. Cap off the afternoon with a rehearsal.
International Students and Alumni Celebration
Time: 1 - 3 P.M.
Location: Iron Arrow Room (Shalala Student Center)
International students, alumni, and supporters are invited to a special centennial Homecoming celebration in collaboration with the Council of International Students and Organizations (COISO). This reception honors the legacy of COISO, bringing together past and present Canes from around the world to connect, reflect, and celebrate our global community. Enjoy cultural connections, light refreshments, and a shared celebration of international impact.
Veterans Rally Point and Networking Reunion
Time: 2:30 - 4:30 P.M.
Location: UC 2nd Floor: Veterans Resource Center
Join fellow Canes in honoring the dedication and service shown by our veteran alumni and student veterans during a special centennial networking reception. Celebrate their impact, share your UM stories, and connect with others who’ve shaped—and continue to shape—our legacy. Check out the Veteran Students Organization and tour the Veteran Resource Center! Light bites will be served.

Step into a century of history with a special centennial Homecoming campus tour! Led by current students, this guided walk through our iconic Coral Gables campus offers a unique opportunity to explore beloved landmarks, discover hidden gems, and hear stories that span 100 years of Canes pride. Whether you're reliving your college days or admiring the U’s evolution, join us in celebrating our past and envisioning our future.
Housing and Residential Life Faculty, Professional and Student Staff Homecoming Reception
Time: 3 - 4:30 P.M.
Location: Centennial Village - Florence Hecht Great Room
Former and current employees of Housing and Residential Life, including student staff positions and faculty, please join us for an afternoon of delicious refreshments and light bites. Mingle, reminisce, and network with fellow Canes who have all contributed to the success of an impactful residential life experience. Feel free to stop by as your schedule allows! UM Hillel Open House and Shabbat Candle Lighting
Time: 3:30 - 5:30 P.M.
Location: University of Miami Hillel
Join Hillel for a special open house in celebration of the University's centennial. Enjoy delicious kosher bites, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks while mingling with fellow alumni, current students, and Hillel staff. Whether you were highly involved during your time at the U or are simply curious about what's new at Hillel, everyone is welcome! A short and meaningful Shabbat Candle Lighting Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m.
Brewing Connections: Coffee with the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and College Leadership

Join Leonidas Bachas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, for a warm cup of coffee and even warmer conversation. This special Homecoming gathering invites Arts and Sciences alumni back to campus to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate moments that shaped their U experience. Whether reminiscing about late-night study sessions, favorite professors, or the lifelong friendships forged in the dorms, this is a moment to catch up with classmates, hear what's new at the college, and share what being a Cane means.
School of Communication Alumni Weekend and Homecoming Celebration

Hosted in partnership by the Black Alumni Society and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, this reception celebrates the vibrant contributions of alumni from the diaspora. Boat-Burning Ceremony and Fireworks Show

This year, the tradition takes on even greater meaning.
