About this Event
This 1-hour foundational training provides key emergency response information for the most common hazards we face at the University of Miami, empowering attendees with highly actionable response steps that can be rapidly implemented during any emergency situation. It is recommended that all faculty, staff, and students take this training prior to completing their first year of service/school and once every 3 years afterwards. Once you are registered, you will receive a reminder email and Zoom link from oem@miami.edu the day of the training session. A web camera and microphone capability are strongly preferred to promote interactivity throughout, but not required. For additional assistance, or to schedule a session for your specific area, group, or department, please contact the Office of Emergency Management at oem@miami.edu.
