The ACADIA Board of Directors, along with Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami (UM), is thrilled to announce the 2025 conference, COMPUTING for RESILIENCE: Expanding Community Knowledge and Impact, in Miami from November 3-5 (Workshops) and November 6-8 (Conference). From November 3–5, the University of Miami School of Architecture will host a series of workshops across Murphy, the RAD Lab, and the Construction Management Space. The program will culminate on November 5 with a Workshop Exhibition and Reception at 5:30 p.m. on the Murphy Terrace, celebrating the work produced throughout the series.
The conference will then shift to Florida International University, where a series of public events will take place. On November 6, the Digital Practice Award will be presented to Studio RAP at 4:15 p.m., followed by a keynote lecture by David Benjamin at 5:00 p.m. On November 7, Jenny Sabin will receive the ACADIA Society Award for Leadership at 4:30 p.m., with Tsz Yan Ng delivering the ACADIA Innovative Research Award of Excellence lecture at 5:15 p.m. The program continues on November 8 with a panel on Advancing Research through Interdisciplinary Funding Opportunitiesat 1:45 p.m., concluding with a keynote by Samuele Sordi of Pininfarina at 3:00 p.m.
