 ter understanding forecasting information released by the National Hurrica
 ne Center\n-Concrete steps and best practices for being prepared for hurri
 canes both at home and at work\n-University emergency preparedness informa
 tion\n-Question & Answer section\n\nWhile we understand that this informat
 ion is most important for people who may not have experience with preparin
 g for and responding to hurricanes and tropical storms\, we also stress th
 at this training is appropriate for all levels of experience with hurrican
 es and strongly recommend it to everyone. Each class offers the opportunit
 y for brief discussion of previous experiences and tips/best practices lea
 rned from those who have been through previous storms. There are many thin
 gs we can learn from each other in order to become a more resilient commun
 ity. All faculty\, staff\, and students are encouraged to register.\n\nOnc
 e you are registered\, you will receive a reminder email and Zoom link fro
 m oem@miami.edu the day of the training session. A web camera and micropho
 ne capability are strongly preferred to promote interactivity throughout\,
