Film Screening - "Always, Most of the Time"
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 P.M. (reception begins at 8:00 P.M ; film screening begins at 8:30 P.M.)
Location: Bill Cosford Cinema
Kick off your Centennial Homecoming experience with a film screening. Recently debuted at the American Black Film Festival, "Always, Most of the Time" tells the story of Delilah, a hopeless romantic who in the midst of heartbreak discovers she can travel back in time to fix her dating history. After the film, alumni, students and faculty are invited to a talk back with the film's executive producer and UM alum, Kyle Vaughn, as he discusses his role in bringing this unique story to life.

International Students and Alumni Celebration

Location: Shalala Student Center (Iron Arrow Room)
In celebration of 100 years of the University of Miami, we invite international students and alumni to a special gathering hosted in collaboration with the Council of International Students and Organizations (COISO). Enjoy cultural connections, light refreshments, and a shared celebration of international impact.

Founded in 1967, COISO has long championed the integration, representation, and celebration of international voices on campus. This reception honors that legacy—bringing together past and present Canes from around the world to connect, reflect, and celebrate our global community.

Whether you're reliving your college days or seeing how the U has evolved, this tour is the perfect way to celebrate our past and envision our future.

Multicultural Student & Alumni Bash
Time: 4 - 6 P.M.
Location: MSA Office (Whitten University Center, 2nd floor - Suite 2300F)Â
Join us for a special reception celebrating the vibrant contributions of alumni from the diaspora. Hosted in partnership by the Black Alumni Society and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, this reception celebrates the vibrant contributions of alumni from the diaspora in the 100 years of legacy, leadership, and learning at the University of Miami. Reconnect with fellow Canes, meet current student leaders, and honor the shared stories that have shaped our U before heading over to the Canes Lounge. Light bites will be provided.

No matter when you graduated, what your Greek affiliation is, what team you played on or what dorm you lived in, one thing is for sure...we all represent The U! The Black Unity Tailgate presents an opportunity for Canes of every age (and even the Canes of tomorrow) to celebrate the unique legacy, culture and community that exists among our UM family.

Let your hair down and put your U up as we honor 100 years of Cane spirit and excellence. Prepare to cheer on our Miami Hurricanes as they take on the Syracuse Orange.  We will be gathering in the Blue parking lot on the west side of the stadium. Look for signage on our tents.

A Moment of Meditation
Time: 11 A.M. - 12 P.M.
Location: The Rock
To close out a fun-filled weekend, let's gather on-campus once more for a moment of quiet reflection. Led by Pastor Muche Ukegbu, lead Pastor at The Brook Church Miami, we will reflect on our powerful past and the uncertainties of today, and touch and agree on the necessary future of our Canes community. Let’s celebrate, make and protect our history, together. Plus, grab a few final photos at The U statue an take a walk to visit the UTrailblazers Kiosk!

End your Homecoming on a high note with your fellow Canes as we toast to the close of a successful Centennial celebration. Nothing says Sunday Funday quite like brunch. And in Miami, brunch isn't just a meal - it is an experience! This will be our final moment to pay tribute to our past, celebrate the present and reaffirm our commitment to our future at UM. To help us plan, please register in advance to reserve your spot and receive event updates. While registration is required, guests are responsible for their own expenses.Â
