Inflation is back, with a noticeable impact on the US economy. Wages are increasing, and assets and housing prices have appreciated. The Federal Reserve has been very accommodating but now the Fed should tame inflation. Economic growth is already low. Hence, the fear is that the Fed may bring the economy into recession, and unemployment may increase. Financial and housing markets may be heading to a new crash.
