The theme this year is Operating in an Uncertain World: The world is undergoing a dynamic transformation, marked by turbulent wars, pandemics, natural disasters, and political unrest. The need for cooperation, resilience, and innovative solutions has never been more apparent as we navigate these complex global challenges.
Our goal for this conference is to create a structured opportunity for students and faculty to network and for students to learn more about how to get involved and participate in global health and global surgery. The conference is open to undergraduates, medical students, graduate students, residents/fellows, attendings, and any other participants interested in learning.
Speakers include Dr. Barth Green (Neurosurgery), Didi Farmer (Medical Anthropologist), Dr. Elizabeth Greig (Internal Medicine), Dr. Rene Pareja (Gynecology Oncology), and more. We will also be hosting an interdisciplinary panel on Sustainable Global Health Practices. Please note this conference includes Global Health, Public Health and Global Surgery!
