About this Event
UM's Learning Innovation and Faculty Engagement and Platform for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (PETAL) is delighted to announce the eighth annual Faculty Showcase. The Faculty Showcase is the University of Miami’s teaching and learning conference—an annual gathering where faculty share, network, and discover the ways in which their colleagues are enriching student experiences through innovative pedagogies and learning technologies. Led by faculty for faculty, this conference aims to support faculty development and enhance student learning.
We are excited to bring the Showcase back in-person this year! Here is a glimpse of what the event will have to offer:
- Keynote Speakers Dr. Viji Sathy and Dr. Kelly Hogan, “Cultivating Equitable Learning Environments through Inclusive Teaching”
- Learning Circles facilitated by UM faculty (submit a proposal by Sept. 30)
- Advancing Educational Innovation at UM panel moderated by Vice Provost Kathi Kern
- Networking Opportunities
