About this Department
The Office of Faculty Affairs is part of the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and is led by the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, Guillermo Prado, Ph.D.
We support Faculty appointment, development, and hiring for the University of Miami Coral Gables and Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science Campuses.
Our office functions include promotion and tenure, onboarding and orientation, compensation, leaves, sabbaticals and retirement.
